Forum Upgrade

I have completed the update to our forum software and the forum is open again for business.

For those members who have forum accounts, your user name and password remain the same. Simply log in as you normally would. Your posts and avatars are still intact.

For those who do not have forum accounts, I encourage you to register a user name and password and participate. We have message boards set up for various subject areas, including upcoming event postings, detailing your corvette, club news, and even an off topic area just for fun. We have close to 500 members and over 25,000 posts, so feel free to look around. New accounts require authorization before posting is allowed, so do not be alarmed if you can't post immediately. This is to confirm you are 'real' and not a forum bot, a problem we've had in the past. We want to make sure the forum is family friendly and safe to use at work and at home.

The new software features blogging capabilities. What is a blog, you ask? A blog (contraction of the words 'web' and 'log') is a personal commentary by an author about a particular subject, event, etc. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. A typical blog combines text, images, links to other blogs, and any other content related to its topic. So, if you have any interesting Corvette stories, projects, etc that you would like to share, this is a great area for that. Please note that blogs are subject to the same rules as forum posting, i.e., no foul language or the like.

I am still working on upgrading the gallery, which is still down at this time. I will send a separate email advising you all when that work is completed, along with many other web updates in progress, so stay tuned...
