Spooktacular 2011 Event Information

Spooktacular is a RAIN or SHINE Low & High Speed Autocross event, limited to 50 drivers.

We will run the Low Speed Cone Course on Saturday and the High Speed Autocross on the famed Old Dominion Speedway 3/8 mile oval on Sunday. Seven events each day, two runs per event. For both Saturday and Sunday, the first seven runs count toward the first round of AutoX 1-7; runs 8-14 count as the second round of AutoX 1-7.

Event is open to Corvettes and non-Corvettes. Non-Corvettes are not eligible for NCCC points.

For safety reasons, NO trucks, vans, SUVs or cross-overs are allowed.

Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid drivers license and maintain current automobile insurance.

Long pants, long sleeved shirt, closed toe shoes, and helmets SA 2000 or newer are required; motorcycle helmets are NOT allowed. Helmets can be rented at www.ogracing.com in advance.

Overnight trailer parking is available at Old Dominion Speedway, located at 10611 Dumfries Road, Manassas, VA 20112. www.olddominionspeedway.com

Non-NCCC drivers must provide satisfactory proof of high speed driving skills to Event Chairman in order to participate in High Speed Events on Sunday. NVCC and Event Chair solely reserve the right to determine eligibility for High Speed participation.

Cost for Saturday & Sunday: 14 Auto-X Sessions - $135 / driver
Cost for Saturday OR Sunday: 7 Auto-X Sessions - $75 / driver

No refunds after October 15th.

In High Speed Events:
1. All roadsters must have roll bars as outlined under Section on Technical Inspection for Speed Events.
2. Fire extinguisher (min. 5 BC) required in all groups and classes.
3. It is highly recommended (required in Group 3) that all competing cars be equipped with roll bars or roll cages.
4. All entrants must have High Speed Certification, and fire suits are required for Group 3.
